ambient, how did you 'plumb in' the ram for your thumb. I too brought one from digbits, and have to take it off for 6" trenches, but a ram would be handy. did you have to put in an additonal switch, or is it on the hammer cicuit?

WORST piece of gear I've ever had are me Rigger Boots, great for sitting on plant but shite for everything else... although they do save wear on yer Barrows, just fill the Feckin things everytime you walk out to the skip!!:(

Riggers are only any good for architects or hse that them out of bags in the boot of their mondeo and slip them on with a suit an immaculate hi viz and a White hard hat that shines like a beacon.
On a side note we had a bco the other day jump in the trench with a shovel and had s dig around lol not seen that for a few years

Here's mine it's meant for soil but is superb for free handing sand.
This photo was taken at 8.45 this morning.
This photo was taken at 9.15 this morning it's ready for paving and screeded to within a couple of mm of the stringline. I use a plastic plasterers trowel for any fine adjustment to the sand as we go. It cost about £65 from Richmond a few years back and sees action most weeks I mostly use the probst gear for larger stuff but this on the small stuff and it really smooths out transitions in conjunction with the screeder.
It leaves a lovely bed and you can use less sand because you don't need rails.
3.30 this afternoon all paving completed and sanded 43m2.
It's very quick fo dressing te dried sand out evenly to.
