ye like the engcon or steel wrist units, im new to the idea also, but a thread on another forum LPAD introduced me to opened up my eyes :0

Also what chainsaw's are they dan, i can see 3 stihl ones, is the big one at the back the MS880?

ones a top handled ms200t, i use for tree climbing work
then i have a small loggin saw, not sure of the model number, ut it has a 14" bar, and an assisted spring start. you pull the cord out really slowly and it engages a spring which fires the engine. its also got tooless chain tensioning. the large one is an 044 25", which i have had for fifteen years. its a really powerful saw, and has served me well.

oreet, ive got a couple of stihl chainsaw's, a friend of mine had the ms880, what a ridiculous saw that is, you could probably chop two trees down at once with it.
Ive also used the ms200t saw before, very handy tool. do you have tickets for climbing and using a top handled saw? Ive heard your not insured otherwise?

I did a chainsaw course about 15 years ago, and refused to even operate one until i did.
Waste of time. never been asked, never been checked.
not sure about insurance, but you cannot buy a top handled saw without the ticket (although my dealer never checks!)

Ahh, ive heard this before, when the guy with the MS880 went to get one, it took him ages to talk the dealer round.
Funny thing is you can buy them second hand off ebay
