yes, junked them over a decade ago.
Best bit is having loads of change in your pocket and not having to lug papers, pouch, lighter around with you ()and not having to lose them)
Also, not smelling like a woodbine most of the time.
I gave up for a month, them back on, then 3 months then back on but the longer I was off, the less I liked to go back on, so the time off was replaced with the time on and I just gave up.
Be careful of boozing as its a natural antidote to grog, so as soon as you feel a bit pished, you'll reach for a fag.
BE WARNED!

i was getting them off thiefbay but they seem to have removed them now
try here
the only side effect i had was violent dreams for the first 10 days, and i mean seriously bad stuff and very lucid
however ,in the last 2 weeks I havent even had a pang for a smoke
As a side note my mate sells old stuff on ebay and he had a board game from the70s "escape from colditz " for sale
it reached 70 quid and ebay removed it
he got a final warning as his photo of the game included the swastika
I have had it with ebay and their ridiculous seller BS ratings
in my last phone call i explained that ,when they have no customers left they will maybe then realise what they have done

Cheers, gonna try the hypnotherapy treatment first, a few people i know have had it done with great success, ill let you know how i get on.
It looks as if tabex is similar to champix in how it works, ive quit on the champix before for around 6 months but they made me sick, started again when the troubles with my ex started.
I only sell stuff which is cash on collection otherwise its not worth it, sorta get round the fees that way sold a chunk of marble worktop to a guy near you actually LLL, hes coming all the way up here for it! His ebay name is - 2005dannyk, maybe you know him? hes says hes Luton way anyhow.

theres 250,000 people near me dan
about 1/3 of them are blokes
so its highly unlikely
most ex smokers have fail days etc when stress kicks in for whatever reason,
a mate of mines sister works for a well known tobacco company
and most of their limited efforts go into making smoking attractive to young poor people,
because rich people dont smoke much now
I see so many people in their 50's and 60's completely ruined by tobacco its hard to justify it
good luck anyone trying to give up

Best o luck to all quitting the weed at the moment - today is one year to the day exactly, that I managed to stop completely ...(no jazz woodbines either :;): )
Still not sure how I've managed to do it - went straight cold turkey - did reach a significant age last year tho, bit older than the rest of you blokes, and was pissed off with myself at never having quit.
Good news - feel so much better breathing, and the nagging cough at night has gone.... can even now join the smokers o/s the pub, without thinking about it all the time.
As the cliche says, gets easier every day - cheers one & all.
ps - weather seems to have finally calmed down here. What a morning !!!

Went from 40 a day to zero with no cravings, nicotine replacement or will power 6 years ago and have never looked back since.
Was recommended Allen Carr's Easyway to Stop Smoking by my solicitor who had gone from 60 a day to zero. I have told lots of people to read the book and I would say 50 percent have given up for good, 25 percent gave up then started again and 25 percent never stopped.
Better success rate than all other "therapies" and around £3 a copy on Amazon. Worth a try if nothing else.
