hi steve . liquor is made of parsley . never come across gravy yet down here out of a chippy. when mrs setts ventures oop north with me she always gets onion and mushroom gravy and chips from chippy . only gravy down here in essex i come across is kfc:(

Had it once in sheperds bush. Wasn't much for it to be honest. Its not a patch on gravy, you southerners dont know what your missing out on

thats why they have mash lsp. never found a decent chip down here yet lol. stewed eels and mash my fav . forget the jellied ones . my father in law the only person i know who likes them

Never tried eels in any way shape or form, will have to give them a go. Caught a few fishing mind. Going pack to junk food you cant beat steak and kidney pudding, chips, peas and gravy on a tray
