Also it's not making mats it's prefabing ( prefabricating ) them, it's akin to saying: the cement has arrived instead of concrete. Sorry just a little bug bear :;):
Looks to me as if Giles's lad is supervised anyway, someones obviously driving the digger as the bucket is over the trailer, a machine driver wouldnt just leave it like that to take a photo...so someone else who was with the boy had to of taken the photo.
I agree with all the H&S stuff to some extent but comparing extreme events to every situation on a every building site gets annoying.
My bugbear. Sorry Sean.
I worked on a site about 18 months ago, just laying kerbs, there where only 3 of us on site, hardhats, gloves, goggles, no rolled up sleeves, no smoking, no phones, werent allowed to change blade in sthilsaw, it just went on and on. I walked in the end as to me that isnt work, its oppressive nagging that just insulted my intelligence, and resulted in me not giving a shite about the job.

Dan the fact that you were not allowed to change the saw blade speaks volumes mate.

Looks like nice stone Tony. Fairly representative as to what we are seeing as well.

Nice work Tony. Why did you lay the coursed work that way instead of the other way round so they are not looking at long straight lines from the patio door?

its kind of a design feature mike, the main area we didlast year runs the same way and they wanted it like that
the path linking the 2 patios runs perpendicular
I hope/think it will all look right when its done
ne'er a truer word said though steve than go and look at the stone,I cannot believe the colour variation from last years autumn blend to this years
bizarrely i still find uncalibrated stone easier to lay?
picked up another pack today in butterfields, armed response units running through their yards with MP5s looking for luton's latest gun man

I think adding the word blend to raj or autumn gives suppliers a lot of flexibility when it comes to colour variation.
