she owns it and rents it out because they couldnt sell and it was the only way they could move

I have to say mark, that Indian stone is some of the best paving I have seen. was that romex you used?
I can also see you are blessed with lovely topsoil in your part of the world. makes turfing all the easier.
The only criticism i could make (apart from some issues on that crusher!!), is that pic 78 and 82 look as though there are some slips in that paving.

Oh, and i love the screeding tool you have. Was that a kit that came with the screed bars too??

That pic tony was to highlight a bodge up by the builder, he insisted that was the way to go...... once a call to my local building control soon had it changed on his nxt visit...

The injun is sold by a company called Foras.co.uk they have outlets all over uk in garden centres just happens there main centre is 8 miles from my yard, the colour there is what they call morland york in f40 grade worked out at £30m+vat not cheap but top quality they supply john lewis with injun stone ornaments and water features

was pointed with the new marshalls weather point365, about £34 --15kg,good stuff but took day and a half to set

the slips in the pix were put under duress as the customer did not what to see pattern change as the edge blocks was stuck on retaing wall with floor tile glue in advance

screeding tool is the probst 2.3m to 3m adjustable screeder screed rails are just 25mm galv. conduit, cheap and easy

It was @@cking it down with rain last saturday morning, had to drag em in and drag em out , hard work was a base for rainwater storage tank 10m dia. 34,000 thousand gallons of water
my mate just traded the Deere in friday got 46k for it against a brand new 50k box JD.... MSH

A farmer next to campus has a brand new JD, and a two year old JD. He told us, he's trading in the two year old one, in a swap for a brand new Kubota, can't remember the figures, but he couldn't afford not to take the deal

nice looking work mate, the sandstone paving looked really good. That topsoil looked the muts, up here all we get is clay, stones and more clay.

started this on tuesday 250 thick slab with L bars and a 2m high 250 thick reinforced concrete wall, its massively over engineer for the ground conditions.



access is really tight 12' high bridge and a really narrow steep track in and out but found a local farmer to take the muck few miles up the single track thats only just wide enough for tractor and trailer.

where we are working in the shadow of kinder scout, its miserable all day everyday never warms up or gets sunny



what the building inspector wanted, hand dug, then cleaned with trowel and hand brush!!!!





so cleaned off then blinded off with a weak mix then we can start shuttering and fixing all the steel

what timber are you using for the shuttering? nice bit of stone your digging out, you not got anyone round your way with a crusher?

3/4 ply fastened to 8x2 planks got loads more photos to upload got thte finally 5m3 of c35 coming tomorrow for the 2m high reinforced walls making it a total of 19m3 of c35 for a garage hehe. 800 quids worth of rebar etc massively over specced but just building what the engineer has designed,
