no choice dave,no access for a machine
only took me 6 hours :(
digging over an existing run is always slightly easier than virgin ground
I wonder what a machine would have made of the water pipe?

if you were digging that lot up with a machine you would dig along the pipe rather than across it, a good machine op would feel the water pipe before busting it. 3/4t machine would get in any doorway... ps, i prefer your other shoes

fellas If i could have got a machine I would,
real world you cant get a machine in to every nook and cranny :)
its funny how I always seem to get these type of jobs
a symbiotic relationship eh?

anyway it worked the weekends guinness out of me :)
