Tone those brick on edge was my idea in the beginning to try and make sure we had enough paving to finish the job as we have the front to do (which i have started this week )nothing else would have looked right. But it doesn't look difficult but what a pain in the backside to do especially out the front as there curved areas around the trees and beds good ol day work tho ho ho ho

I dont know about other blokes on here, but i have always had a knack for bricks, blocks and slabs
let me near a car or a wood saw and things go wrong from the off

Im a bit like you LLL. Give me the big stuff like flags, blocks etc. I am not too bad with carpentry - nothing like that beautiful train, but hopeless with decorating.
The wife is always asking me if I can look at the washing machine or fix the dodgy light switch. From past experience if I even touch the washing machine it floods the house and fiddling with the dodgy light switch will trip out the whole neighbourhood !
I stick to what I know and get the professionals in to do what they do best. Or call my dad ! Who is bloody good at most things.
Last night I was assembling a Little Tikes Cozy Coupe car for my 16 month old boys pressie. I got 95% the way through without any asistance from the wife. It was going great. At the last moment she decided she wanted to put the stickers on. She put them on wonky, blamed for for it and said I had ruined the car. You just cant win !
