Nice house Giles, personally including labour guessing around 800k plus for the rebuild. Have you posted pictures of this house before?.

showed the missus, she reckoned the red tarmac and fountain looked chavvy, but nearly wet herself with delight when she saw the kitchen
it takes a lot of vision to do something like that we built 4 one off houses in the late 80's early 90's for various archs and clients
the last one the build cost 250k and the client sold it recently for 1.65mill but there has to be an element of inflation in that
Have to say though, that house has some character

Regulating with red! Expensive regulating but good to see it being done. That's a tricky job to lay, nice end result, well done lads. The advantages of a smaller paver.

But I'm very curious as to the purpose of the small "garden" roller as seen here.....whenever I see these being used, I think "traveller"
Not a whacker plate in sight!

Dave it's a super heavy solid lump of metal they use under the lights and around the fountain ect reckon more control than a whacker. Especially with the cast stone of the fountain real soft stuff. It's not an old garden roller lol, these boys like you got their own low loader, paver 15 guys on the books, maybe we just do it different op north hehe

The steps are just dirty on the photo with the x5 jeep on, and hadn't been cut flush with the copers yet, I did it as it annoyed me it sticking out.

Hmmm true.....I guess I wouldn't relish the job of tapping that tar up around the fountain area!!
