Cheers for the feedback Tony
We have had this problem, particularly with the samples that have got a calibrated (ridged backs). We have instructed our suppliers to polish the backs of the calibrated sample. It will take a couple of months before we start seeing any of these new polished samples, so in the mean time we will be polishing them ourselves. I think we also need to slightly tweak the foam insert to make it less tight.

Here is a picture of the West London showroom extension. We even mananged to get a few plants in as well. There is a bit of a snag list to do yet but its 98% there
We are cutting these blocks up for a TV renovation programme. Its getting filmed on the 10th June
We had to install a granite slab in the kitchen. It was big old piece and the office lads had to get stuck in

Good to finally meet mr Luton. I think we were in competition to see who had the biggest hangover. I thought I had won but, I think that tony with 2 hours sleep the night before, just shaded it.
I think your client made a good choice with the cladding and coping tony.
Like tony says mick, it has to be the dreaded pallet line. As a rule of thumb the cost works out at approx £40+ per 17.5m2 of stone. There always seems to be problems with Pallet companies though as the drivers always seem to be jobs worths who are looking for any excuse not to make the drop.

Yeah, they like to bitch and moan about having to take the pallet off by hand. For some stupid reason they don't send anybody out with the driver so he is left to take it off himself.London Stone Paving wrote:Good to finally meet mr Luton. thank Steve
I actually typed this reply below yesterday but waited with baited breath for your reply half hoping you would of said the order will be delivered on a London Stone wagon - *SIGH*
the trouble with palletline and similar transport companies is the drivers don't give a dam about the customer and what time you end up getting your delivery as half the time they only started working as a temp driver the same morning, and I am sick to death of drivers who F and blind every other word thinking its big and clever to use dirty language
every delivery now has to have the name of company on the vehicle who I placed the order with or it will not be being delivered at all
