I am doing fine for work now I have got in with a fairly big civils firm who are subbing me and my lad in to do alot of there flagging and I am now getting my own working coming in again too. So its now the problem of fitting it all in.

Famine to feast as they say. I not complaining though am happiest that i have been all year.

its a tough one judging people who turn up to price
but when someone turns up with no tape, and no pen and paper,
i switch off
as Sean say is used to go round with a mixer in the back of an XR2 with a barrow on the roof-rack
needs must as they say

Once did a job by Glyndebourne and thought as i helped do the re-mod i'd drive in and have a look. I was in my old sierra ( blue rust bucket ) wheel barrow in the back along with sand, cement etc. me, unshaven looking like shite, the wife in the front seat. As i got there i realised they had a show on. To late i was in the queue with, rollers, bentleys, you name it :O People where getting out in their ball gowns, penquin suits etc. My wife ( think hyacinth bouquet ) through gritted teeth, whispered ...get me the f*** out of here. I Drove around missed the turning and had to join the queue again, she was dissappearing into the well, so embarrased. I was cracking up. The chaffeurs stood in a bunch were laughing and winking, the ladies and gentlemen where looking like they had stood in dog s****. Finally got out and got a roasting all the way home off hyacinth
