iv used barrow mix in preston, and most times the stuff they mix is absolute crap, so now i use cemex same as giles or base mix, proper stuff

interesting to read what people pay for product across the country, i can tell you we pay £74 pm here in the south east.

not in this south east we dont
varies from £80-£140 depending on the amount
no extra charges

In this area of east Anglia ,we pay around £75for ST1/ST2 to £80.5 for RC35 /C35 on the lorry deliverys £15 for any empty meters no carried, 4m or 6m lorrys, i usually collect kerb mix in lorry from .2m to 2m, so easy hardly ever hand mix concrete

i did a job for some relatives near chelmsford , and need 1.2m. Got the company just up the road to quote, £250+vat.
Rang up one of these "mix as you go" wagons, they charged £120+vat. And they came from southend!!
It pays to shop around.
I am fortunate enough to have a local family run firm here and they are a smashing company,D hardings concrete, always willing to help, and are very fair on price. they have just brought their own pump too.
