On our sites gloves are compulsory and i hate them. i think they are an hindrance most of the time. I wear them for concrete tho'. You want to try doing up the bolts on the collars with them on....murder. I always nip the ends off mine because they won't supply me with fingerless, to dear ???

Again, with tarmac you should wear gloves as per the risk assessment etc - but I just can't get on with them.

i think more accidents are caused by gloves than not
they catch on things
as for the chillblain cure,thats how it was

on all big/major contractor sites gloves are mandotory.
Sean if they catch you "nipping the fingers" be warned that lor will want your first born whipped and then burned as a warning to all others. :p :;): :p

I got some in costco last year i do normally wear gloves rigger gloves for gardening and the knitted coated ones for anything else

yeah costco or a decent outdoor/farm supply shop should have them
mine were from costco about 20 for 2 pairs of the quilted leather gloves, i always dubin/bees wax them if they get wet or excessively dirty

Dropped into lidl today and they had some thick canvas gloves with padding ideal for glass removal etc: £3.99, i thought they were good quality and vfm.
