I have heard that tale too Luton, a lot of the Irish guys who I know had a lot of respect for him because of what he had achieved

i laid the setts on there old cable yard in camden town late 80s met him once we just had a delivery of screed 16 ton saterday morn 5 30 merc pulls up old big guy gets out with young lad climbes up wagon asked me how much is that i say 16 ton he says no way there is not enough i say it weights more wet he says i want it re weighting i sat 5 30 sat morn then asked me what we were doing ie laying setts how much how many sq per day my answer he replied i can get ten men for that money i said fine but can they lay setts of he went smiling i say to young lad who is his son what are you doing up so early answer when he barks i jump :;): ??? ???
