Best quality British-made tools? Caldwell's Stockton Forge for digging spades - best in the world, and from Warrington. And Thor rubber mallets (clonkers) are made in Brum, apparently!

Result I persisted with the client and used the old trick of putting the sob story to the wife. You know the one about mouths to feed employees familys etc and hey presto she calls me and says come and pick it up. Cash too.
