I know what ya mean about the extra 150mm in the back, i cant even get a tarmac rake in straight on, nobody tells ya that when yer buying it do they. a think the general consensus is to go with the cabstar then eh:0
Tony. go to www.tipmaster.co.uk, and scroll down the left hand menu and click on Swing lift crane.
Its designed to be in line with the ladder rack, and hardly takes any room, yet will lift up to 300kg
If you had a trailer, you'd only have to drag the wacker up and down it all the time, and the cost of the trailer is about the same as the above!
Just a thought

"a satisfied customer? we should have them stuffed!"
Yeah, but VAT @ 21% and almost impossible to get a 3-bed house for less than 250 grand sterling (400 grand Euro)
Is the Canter that chunky 3.5 tonner or am I thinking of summat else? If it is, then it's a grand old yoke. The body will go long before the engine does.
Drove past what looks like a Cabstar for sale this evening - I'll try and find more details if anyone's interested. This is up near York, but that's only a couple of hours on the train from darn sarf or cumbria.
