The one that strikes fear into me is `The Retired Engineer`usually a man with his own ideas on everything and far too much bloody time to share them.
While we are name dropping recently worked for young master Rooney, his mate Garry Neville and Dave (cheap as chips) Dickinson.

me too,i screeded a floor for one once and he drew a relief map on the screed ,when i asked what it was he said i was up to 2 mm out in places!!
also worked on the french embassy in kensington palace gardens,we used to wave at lady di every day (next door neighbour then)

We had one retired engineer who put at least a day on the job by getting our lads to flush toilets, run sinks and baths etc while he stood over the last chamber on site with a stop watch, so that he could calculate flow rates.
When we had done a full renewal of the system by excavation and lining he repeated the process and calculated the improvement on the flow rate.
Never right :p
