Luv you guys - but, I think I'm in a different world.
Just gave what seemed to be an honest bloke a bit of storage space - first 6 months on the button, then it starts - now owes me £1500 notes - couple of months ok - then took his tools, etc - just left all his crap, plasterboard, half slabs etc - more fool me - this geezer's done similar to a few peeps locally - they're lookin' to kill - I'm saying whoooah - this bloke now has a problem - daren't come into any of our local pubs - shame, 'cos his wife's a sweetie & 3 lovely kids.
I can just about wear being ripped - some of the others are very angry.
ps - Sean - money has never impressed me.

regarding rents etc. i rent a few places and if the rent stops they are out,no eviction notices, none of that bollox just out on the street plain and simple.
the thing with money is there is no need to walk about with a load of money and tom these days
if you got 3 banks cards you can get £1500 cash in 5 minutes if needed.
in those days before debit cards and phones people didnt trust cheques ,so if you had to buy a car quickly you needed the readies
i have to say i miss the craic in the pub at lunchtimes, there was another pub called "the swan " in northall, where we were barred for not wearing tops in the heat of summer
then the landlord realised he was selling 100 pints of beer less a week he soon came round and begged us back
cant be done these days and really its a good thing i was potless all the time in the 80's
cheers LLL

even to this day i still cant believe i can go to a wall and it gives me money. the craic was good in those days when you could just stay in the pub for that extra pint or six. could say feck it in the morning and stay in bed till the pub opened again. but then outside forces come between you and the craic. i think its called a wife.

You don`t have to work for NASA to know that you will never earn more than three women in one house can spend :p
