Mike, it's the brew cabin, not sure if you've ever worked on a building site etc with a brew cabin and it's own particular brand of humour. Basically you get the p*ss ripped out of you till you stand up and give it back etc. No place for a shrinking violet haha

when i was 17 there was another lad "snotty lol" lawrence
I wont go into detail but he was a mouthy so and so and the end involved swarfega and a trowel handle where the sun dont shine
he shut up after that, today the hoddies would be inside for it
a chipie apprentice mark had his brand new 10 speed racer taken apart and hidden in the water butt
those days are gone now thank god
i used to keep my gob shut and look and listen

Is there a budget for the job... If you are the regular gardener for the client then creating a maintenance free garden will end the contract. There is plenty you could do but would the client pay... :)

Just don't buy work, give her a few prices for different ideas make it clear exactly what she gets per price and stick to it, if she starts asking for the most expensive idea at the cheapest price then stick to your guns. Your not insulting anyone giving them a fair price, we are all out to make a living.
