Taken advice from Dave from Gale Engineering, many thanks ..any help interpreting these brief results in terms of
current weight bearing ...( 6 a day 40 tons?)
Can we just put new layer tarmac on ?
And if so,
What thickness tarmac for 40 ton weights?
Test results:
min CBR15% in all 3
1) 10mm tarmac over 110mm hardcore ( not DTP type) clay sub base
2) No tarmac but very deep hardcore 210mm plus
3) 120mm tarmac/ hardcore sandy gravel and brick sub base
