Thanks for the offer, but wee bit far for me to travel.
Metal bracing and framework is all sound. There are 2 girders the length of the trailer, the gap from edge to girder is 550mm, girder to girder 810mm and girder to other edge is 560mm.
There are braces across the trailer every 550mm, like noggins.
For now I'm just going to be using it to store bottles on in yard, though it is roadworthy apart from the floor.
Trailer gross weight is 30T, think it weighs 10T.
Currently got timber flooring, 125mm wide, 18mm thick.

Wow that's no toy trailer you have there then that's for sure.
Well you probably already know that if its going on the road I would think the trailer would need to have an MOT and also your O licence would need to cover that as well.
So be careful what you decide to do the floor with material wise..

Just counter board straight over the old stuff with marine ply.

That was my initial thought, wanted other opinions though.
Got trailer off supplier, they had 6 just going to scrap and the only thing really wrong with them is the floor (one of their staff fell through the floor on one of them).
I phoned up asking for a price drop, they said no so I asked for a trailer instead. Means a lot less lifting because when i get a delivery I can just roll bottles from lorry to trailer and when I'm loading up I can just pull transit up alongside trailer and drop them on.

OSB would be the cheapest option, but with the battering gas drums will give them, I'd opt for decent ply.
Or ply line cheap ,then skin with 1mm steel sheet. Whatevers the cheapest. Have a look on flea bay, there might be some site hoarding going cheap?
