We ripped it up thursday, my mate did not have much interest after that so we set shutters round corner and went home at 12, but nxt will will be a new start, client has given me a load more work closer to home so i,m happy we still got 4 week+ there MSH :)

Thanks for that London,looking back you have to go forward,lost 2 days but concrete cost is covered so it's not the end off the world still got my reputation not lost to much and still got contract and more from it MSH :)

i got one for you! 2 weeks ago we finnished a garage base and popped in the pub to let it go off a bit (not long later)when we returned a fecking cat had walked throught it so we tamped i tup best we could floated it up and then it fecking pissed down like marbles not good after a swift half??? and last year doing my mates ramp to his garage it pissed down as we was about to leave and the gutters where pouring on to it and had to trowel it off and balance planks on bricks to stop the splashing its was FOC so he didnt mind so i fecked off ...oh yeah a labourer on his first and last day tried to get a bucket of water out of the drum on the back of my truck and tipped straight over his head un...fecking ...belivable

cats do like a bit of fresh concrete
must be the smell
many garage floors i have laid have cat prints in them
you explain to people about keeping cats indoors when concreting,but they still let them out

Poured second area last week ,100t topsoil,today planted bare rooted box hedging ,next week a olive tree should arrive to go in centre then grass seed,next pour thursday if no rain.... :D

There is 25m channels 6m from each end to form a envolope for water to flow, silt box at one end then pipe off to the drainage system , it a old farm yard rock hard sub-base,total ashphalt area approx , MSH :)
