I was in Costco today and the ones Giles are talking about are a grand plus but there are smaller ones for the £600-700 mark. Cracking looking BBQs, one even had a squire to roast a pig etc.

I have a few of these

Had a customer wanting to buy them, I ordered them up, they pulled out at last second leaving me with 5 BBQs. I would use them all myself if I wasn't vegan

the point we are all missing is that in the last 3 years we have had about 15 suitable weekends for a bbq
i have some bells and whistles gas thing ,but on closer inspection its not even a bbq just a grill and hotplate with rings
effectively an outdoor propane cooker
i thought the whole point was that fat dripped onto the coals and let off smoke which flavours the food?
what about the pizza ovens we spoke about a while back
anyone ever build one?

And of those 15 suitable weekends I'm fairly sure I worked all of them. I never let the rain stop me from having a BBQ, neighbours all thought I was crazy though.
