we do hand dig, i dont like it but we'll do it. did a water main for a guy who had an immaculate bowling green lawn, didn't want machines on so boarded it out both sides and hand dug down to 750, in the right stuff its easy.
new build estates etc were its all back fill its a nightmare. brick concrete, 8x4 bloody ply sheets buried haha

have to say having paid out up to 3k for repairs gas and electric,i know to check but they were not meant to be there.spell check did not have that word.guess you have to get somewhere near for it to pick up :p :p had my fair share of them mixers seen lots off broken thumbs main cause throwing handle in sand and keeping thumb to back of handle when it kicked back ouch no going to the health and safety man crying then :p ??? oh the good old days
