Some of the men would go mad if i cleaned the billy cans out. They reckon the stains added to the taste

Have you seen the price of Billy Cans nowadays? I couldn't find one for less than a tenner!
The best way to stir the "tay" was to windmill the Billy Can in a big circle, akin to Pete Townsend playing guitar. Watching my owld feller do that when I was about 6 years old gave me a thorough understanding of centrifugal forces.

I remember Tony "winding the can". t time was a painful experience with sore arms and burnt lips a? i still to this day have to swill an ordinary cup in boiling water so that the "tae" burns me throat, have to gulp it down before it gets cold. :laugh:
