i think 4 degrees and rising is the brickwork official limit,but tell that to a subbie when theres xmas presents to buy and festivities to pay for
i would say a fair few flats were built in enfield in sub zero temperatures,i know cos i was there.we built 21 course corners from 7.30 am to 8.30 am then tried to joint them but the wind chill had froze the mortar solid
subbie (who shall remain nameless) said dont worry lads joint up when they thaw.
we also lost a whole lift of block work inside and out on 4 flats in herts when high winds caught them 1 wall wnt then the whole lot went===> scary stuff
