Subsidence under tarmac - Should I re-surface tarmac with a history of subsidence?

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

To Condor - if you're willing to gamble the 250 quid, that's up to you. From what you've told me in a PM, it's not quite Tinker standard, but I couldn't condone what has been offered. However, I know it goes on, and I know that, as long as they are who they say they are, then you generally get a reasonable (ish) job.

To Steve - If you use the full Reply screen, rather than the QuickPost option, you get a magic button that inserts italics automagically. Alternatively, you simply surround the text to be italicised with [ i ] ...and... [ /i ] ... but without the extra spaces. If yer wants bold, then it's [ b ] ...and... [ /b ]

To Jon - I've been meaning to add that link from Dave Axon for the last 4 months, but I haven't decied where would be best. I did think of adding it to the bitmac pages, but then I thought it might be better in the links section - I still haven't decided!

£250 isn't much at all...especially when the job needs doing :)

I gave them the go ahead a few weeks ago...but it still hasn't been done yet.

I guess I just have to be patient :)

Thanks for your advice :)
