sorry didn't mean to offend, I appreciate the advice. keep hold of your coat it could be cold up on the moral high ground in a years time when it has blocked.

what is going to the best thing to point round the upstanding part of the drain, based on getting access I was think of one of the injected mortars (instmac/easipoint), but I was hoping to point the whole patio and everything else with GFTK, which will flex with the black plastic? will I be able to trowel/pour GFTK in the gap?

fitted some last week paving both sides roding box one side then 600mm x300 mm plastic road gulley with silt bucket and cast iron top bought from drains online looks well told the client when cleaning the patio to pop presure hose down your up early luton :;):

tape it up with gaffer tape mikey
if you are semi competent i would go easipoint buff
if not then gftk 850 or such

still unsure what to point them with? and how to avoid filling the brickslot with jointing material?
