ok fellas , starting work on this today.
so , first question to the gurus is , finding angles and levels.

using a string and some batten and a level i concluded that the man hole (A) stands 280mm above the level at the corner of the house (B) , i have not yet tried to find the level from B to C because i have another problem.
the line the pipe will take out the front of the house will not run parallel with the outside wall of the house.

so , how far should the pipe be from the corner of the house (D) and how do i find out where point E is for a change of direction to bring the pipe under the house? it will need to be 90 degrees wont it?

also , the total distance for the pipe run will be 20 meters or so , how much more fall can i afford to lose if the man hole is 920mm deep?

or , another thought , should i concentrate my efforts to go from point C straight to point A ? it means a lot more disturbance and another two floors to dig up but i really need to make this possible.

i have just checked around the back of the house and i have found that if i were to run a pipe here , then where the pipe exits from the house , one meter from the house it will be 380 mm below the level height of the manhole. the pipe will be a total of 27.1 meters.
is it possible to do it this way? it would certainly be the easiest way.
there is a combined system in there already and a pipe for rainwater and bath/basin and kitchen sink already runs along here however there is very little fall on it so i will need to dig it down a bit deeper.

what do you guys think?
