Evening all ! I am happy to report we have gone from the ridiculous to the sublime ! After two days of suggesting and planting the seed of doubt . All your comments used (again thanks) we have gone from travertine sets to a bret rumbled block paver in autumn gold . After all this the customer has saved himself cash gets a guarentee and a drive that will be there and look good in years to come. The only thing that worries me is that with the money he has saved, there is now talk of a water feature in the front garden. Knowing this guy does anyone know how to create a 6 foot penis out of marble? Once again thanks to all you guys for taking the time to reply to my question, and helping get a sensible outcome to this problem. Cheers !

i have a 900mm obelisk pre drilled in my back garden, but the water basically dribbles out due to the height and it weighs 250 kg
i shudder to think what 1800 would weigh :(
