Looks like you need more dust in your crushed stone.

Going to be replacing the slabs in front too?

The dust is all that its missing. Apart from that its good clean stone. Were going to do the whole garden eventually but for the moment I just wanted something for the summer.

In front of that garage you could use horizontale roof Battons with 20mm spacing. you would have to use a black fabric behind maybe mypex . I saw it today and it looked amazing very contemporary it was used to hide old fence panels, never seen it done before!

What are the two stones in this pic called?
Are they laid on sand like block paving or individually on a sand/cement mix?

Thanks for the comments.

I was expecting a bit of constructive criticism. Maybe it will come later when I post the finished shots.

We've got those Bodgeit at our display, they do look good but I just bought some screens from local fencing place. Only took me 1/2 an hour to put them up.

I hired the whacker, mixer and transformer from TP. Cost me £43 for the week, which was ok. I always find when you mention that its for your own house people will do you a good deal.

Those stones on the display are tumbled Autumn Brown driveway setts and tumbled mixed granite driveways setts. Laid on standard mortar mix, full bed. They have not really taken off for us to be honest. We have had them on display for over a year now and only sold a couple of hundred metres of them. I'd be interested to know if they are being succesful for Marshalls. When laid right they look the absolute mutts as Mick has shown.

They do look great and don't end up fading like the concrete products but people just don't want to pay £40+ when you can get basic monoblocks for £10 or tegula for £15-20
