No worries John, did a quick search for the Signo Flexiguard and looks impressive on the utube clip, although not sure if that was on sandstone paving. Looking at the price on the link to simply paving it doesn’t look that much cheaper than the Dry Treat. I don’t think it would be suitable for mine as its not solvent, just water based so won’t be compatible with what I have already applied.

The main advice I would give is do a test sample on a spare piece of paving (not laid), throw some typical stains/dirt at it and see how it performs. On light coloured paving you won’t stop all stains, but also then try a stain remover to see how it comes up. I'm tipping towards DryTreat at the mo as they also give advice on their website for general cleaning and also spot stain removal. Some sealant manufacturers don’t seem to bother with this vital aftercare info.

I laid some Stonemarket Riven Sandstone (Sahara) as a pathway and have edged it with reclaimed setts.

In a previous post Tony thought from my description the setts were either granites, diorites or basalts. His reply was based on what I wrote, no photos.

I would describe them as a dark graphite/charcoal and in the right light there's a sparkle/glisten. I've see granite setts before and don't think they're granite although there was some random granite I amongst them all.

I've given them a blast with pressure washer and they cleaned up surprisingly well.

Can anyone recommend a sealant that would suit both the Sahara paving and setts?

Garden is north facing and path only gets used by postman.

Think I've read a recommendation from tony via forum?? That it's best to wait a year before sealing to let any funky efflorescence etc run it's course.
