What sort of flags/slabs?

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

Personally I'd love to be laying more natural stone. I've never laid any on a patio but that's because up until this time last year I was a commercial paver. I'm hoping to be laying more as my business picks up. I'm sick of the sight of buff rivens, perfectas and saxons and at the price cast flags go for these day's I can't see why a customer would pick them over stone.

I've been in Derry/Londonderry for the past two days watching AG's Blackwater flags being laid in the Clarendon Rd area.

When you look at the granites and the Caithness used elsewhere in the city, it seems a bit of a budget choice, but it's infinitely better than the mess outside the Quayside centre which is just a complete FU

However, we had a bit of a meeting at the Premier Inn on the Crescent Link and they've used a buff wet-cast for the main paving leading to the hotel and eaterie. I thought is a strange choice as buff is not a natural colour for that area.
