Hi, so you're aware of progress since.
The Inspection happened yesterday (Tuesday).
The Inspection has recommended for the Paving to be Sand Blasted.
The Paving Slab I treated with LTP Solvex, when wet looks good with no water beading, but when Dry looks really Poor, many shades of Grey.
The remainder of the Paving when Wet is Water beading like crazy.
Some of this water beading still has oil residue in it.
Also the paving seems to be getting stickier under foot.
The owner of the Sealant Product has said from the Pictures he's looked at, he can see dust marks alongside some of the Tarp marks too. He's asked if the instructions were followed in regards to Jet Washing before sealing, I've confirmed it wasn't. Hence the Dust marks.
The instructions which I'm trying to get a copy of & verify, may also state the Tarp should have a 1 meter air gap if the paving needs to be covered due to weather whilst drying. Also not to use the sealant in Inclement weather or chance of Rain.
The cost of the Sand Blasting is £200, which the Builder has said he'll put a little towards as it's 'not his fault', apparently it's an 'Act of God'.
Have asked the Vatican Help Desk how I charge the rest of the Sand Blasting cost to God himself, but don't seem to making much progress.
Sorry to add no date agreed yet on Sand Blasting, still weighing up all the options, so any further feedback would be appreciated.
