Just spoke to my sealing Mentor and he says put a pair of plastic over shoes on and you can walk on it after 20 minutes, no problem. The trick is when you apply the second coat to make sure you wipe off any excess or pooling

if you sealing prior to laying how do you transport the paving to site without marking the surface ?

Silly question, but what about the grout?
What if any affect will the sealer/enhancer have on the grout?

It's just a case of giving it enough time to dry and then re-packing it on to pallets. It's taken a little time to get it right but we've got a good method now.
The stone is unpacked and then cleaned. It's then left to dry or dried with large blow torches. We then apply the 2 coats of seal and let it dry for 24 hours. The only time we have had issues with stone marking is when it's been packaged before being properly dry.
