I have a feeling that harvest is one of the softer sandstones so you might need a sealer, also get a lay out done or do it yourself before you start
saves a lot of grief
BTW i was coring holes yesterday for vents, what a ballbreaker of a job!
cheers LLL
What make this stone harder LLL.
Definately going to get a sawn/polished stone now.
I have mint fossil out my front in full sun and the stuff is like a sponge.
I like the look of Modak but it's also 'lively'.......
Kandla Grey/Raj Green look very nice also.......
I did mail the above company and they said any still will suffice in damp/low light area.
Reckon a sealed/polished stone would be fine.
But which....
Different suppliers seem different quality.
I can also get this from local supplier, but he has no polished on show, only a brown...

This is driving me crazy now, just been Exall +Jones to view the Natural Stone Range and they have NO swan/polished stone on show !!!! and just looked at me daft when i asked for it !!!!!
I did quit fancy the 2 stones in pic below, Steel Blue and Carbon Black, they seemed harder and not riven (not swan/polished).....I then discovered it was Limestone......
What reckon peeps ? I know the choice is ultimately mine but still want your opinions.
Ive laid both of those in the pics above, both very hard stone. The ones i laid were unbranded and were imported by an independent supplier i paid £15.00 per Meter plus Vat.
