As the boss says "That material belongs to me untill they pay for it, and i can do what i like with it"

i think you will find in civil law stuarty in england that isnt the case,
my mate fitted a load of hardwood windows for some russian geezer, who then turned round and said " i dit not ask for any vindows" my pal wanted to unfit them but he would have been liable for criminal damage according to the old bill
cheers LLL :)

in the recession i was working for a bloke who bumped me for a few quid. i drove to his house with my two children. i knocked on the door and when his wife opened the door i just walked in with the kids ( never met the lady till then) i sat my kids in the kitchen and started putting food on the table for them. she asked who i was and what i was doing. i told her that her husband owed me money and i was broke so couldnt afford to feed my family. she was on the phone to her old man and gave him such a bollocking. she paid me my money with extra for the kids and so apolegetic on his behalf. desparate times, desparate measures. i wouldnt of cared if she had called the police.

bang on sean,to be honest if someone knocked me for a serious amount, i would have it with them ,end of story
we are going out doing our bollox every day,and it just isn't right not to pay someone.
did a shed base for my brother in law this morning ,when i got there he had had the gardner dig up all the lovely hard ground and turn it over nice and soft
we got there at 8 and the readymix was coming at 9,why oh why do ppl not ask before they pull these stunts
you have to laugh or you would cry :)
still out on the razzle tonight
cheers LLL

another time a firm called shotcrete bumped me, recession again. they had finished on site except for some future snagging. after a lot of phone calls, my wife tried. the boss told her to feck off. that did it. acouple of months went by ( i was still on site for another firm) and guess who turned up at 7.00 in the morning to do some snag work to get the retention cheque? i dragged him out of the van and smacked him up then got his wallet...empty. i was in his van smashing all his tools and trying to force his briefcase open, i was like a man demented. the site agent asked what the craic was and when i explained he told him to leave and not to return till he paid me. a few days later a cheque in the post  like you LLL i would always get what i have slaved my balls off for by any means. :;):
