Can you drive on sandstone paving? - Advise needed for my front garden

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

£200 pm2? Wow, isn't that quite a lot?? My front garden is only 7mx5m does this mean I'm looking at £7K to have it done?! :O

Yes it does sound very expensive.
You can get cheap sandstone from ebay but you'll have to ££££ in over engineering so that you can use it.
Probably be far cheaper to choose a more suitable material for a drive and then the laying costs will tumble.

Thanks everyone, I think you've made my mind up for me. Sandstone paving is out the window, am going to go for something much more straightforward and ideal for driveways....tarmac springs to mind! :laugh:

a supplier near me does sandstone pavers, see here, suitable for driveways, might be someone local to you who does the same thing and you might be able to get it priced up.
