We used to make pipe bombs with black powder etc, so, so dangerous! Fill copper tube with powder, crimp end over and attach fuse.........place in field, light fuse and run!

Chrome hubcaps from old VW's used to fly right up in the air when placed over one of our 'pipes'

I'd be devastated to see/hear of my son doing such things these days................

Forewarned is forearemd ;)

*In July 2008 the European Commission Pesticides Review Standing Committee voted not to include Sodium Chlorate in Annex 1 of the approved pesticides list, so from a date yet to be decided, it will be banned from use. When the date is chosen there will be six months to withdraw sales and 12 months to use up any products already in circulation.

It wont be around for long, is there anything else thats as good?

So the date of banning isn't upon us yet?

Better stock some of the stuff up then......bloody typical innit? You find something that works then the twerps over in Brussels decide to ban it!

Risky Dave, all they'd have to do is find 10 lbs of the stuff and a bedsheet and you will be posting from Guantanamo Bay :D :D :D

Its been mooted so when they make a decision you will still have 12 months to get hold of it, I think its the enviromental aspect, like anything that does the job too well its not arouind for long.

But they'd have to find it!

Is that your WMD -

I asked someone from BALI about this well over a year ago and they knew nothing at the time. I'll see if I can find out if there has been any 'developments'.
