local patios and driveways wrote:Its bloody useless! We keep breaking it, its now unusable. So fragile considering the job its meant to be doing!

Its too low to lift to steer, it will ruin your back in a single day if you are 6ft or more. It drinks about 15 quid a day in fuel if used all day too!

Do not buy a muck truck.
errrr.... can i think about it?

I like the belle muck truck, DDD there is a massive price difference between the tcp and the belle models though, as in £££'s.

This has just come back from tcp themselves, who have refurbished my machine for me.
Complete respray (shot blasted and powder coated)
complete service
new bushes and seals
new grease points and grease seals in the rollers
new decals fitted.
600 hours on the clock

cheers

Indeed. tried the hinowa on a job. skip doesn't tip right over. its petrol, and quite high off the ground, so you cannot use it for slab carting
The jcb dumpster, has an underpowered engine, overheats, and is noisier
The italian ones are too high off the ground, and noisy (and wider)
hard to get bits for, and expensive when they go wrong

The thing i like about my machine is the future proofing. the noise suppression is way beyond what the limits are set to. Its got a cold start, which means you turn the key and hold it, and it will start when it senses there has been enough glow
The two speed tracking is a pressure switch that is bullet proof.
it turns on a sixpence
It also has a concrete scoop that bolts on the top, for pouring footings etc.
Its got a kubota engine
the skip will tip right over at ground level, and tips forward quite far for skip loading
its not too high off the ground for using it to load slabs.
(a pallet of indian stone is unloaded with three trips)
yes its more expensive than the competitors machines, but as i said previous, you get what you pay for!

Its true. You do get what you pay for, i may get one to replace the muck truck. Diesel is always a winner
