dan, me and dad both got navaras there great for what they do but not good if its the only thing you've got.

we've got a 7.5 tonner for bigger stuff and 5 trailers for mini diggers. rollers and a big tri axle 3.5 tonner for dumpers etc

then got tractor and trailer as well.

navara adventura like mine is like a nice 4x4 leather sat nav cruise control etc 32 mpg proved itself off road this last snow and can get all my tools in the locking back and tow 2 ton mini digger around, have towed 4 ton with it (off road

haha ) but i'd struggle to use it as my only vehicle, have had bulk bags in the back but they dont really like it.

32mpg??!! christ giles, i wish!! got ranger thunder 3.0 auto... 24mpg on its own, 16mpg towing. get more mpg out of our 7.5 tonners fully loaded with 3.6t crushers and all associated gear! but cant moan too much as bought new for 14k, and they gave me 2k for old knackered (ie hard worked) fourtrack van. by the way fourtracks are the best work horses in my opinion, 3.5t tow limit and solid as f**K. just a bit "agricultural" for evreyday use!

Back to hand tools the problem with my broom is that either the head falls off, or the handle comes out. Its one or the other

I'll get a pic of our wheelbarrows this week..........

Brushes/shovels last for ages with us considering the work they get put to!

The shovels on the back of the machine, two of them are the originals!!! They've shovelled some tar in their life......

haha, minds me of years ago when I worked for someone, his dad worked for him & he always used this short bladed spade,(5"probs) I thought it was a special type for getting down into the hole but it turns out it was his spade he had used since he started about 40 years & had just worn down!
