great minds think alike 'paving2go',iv not worn mine out yet ,always wash it between fills,wish i had a spare tube

my guys normally have at least 2 guns on a job so that one fills and the other joints, which saves some time. I wouldn't joint any other way now, although have never tried romex.

Im sorry , yes i will explain better why i dont like the pointmaster, Im sure on smooth edged paving its ok , but with Indian stone as the edges are rough it just keeps catching and then the mortor goes over the slab, plus as Indian stone varies in deep as you push the mortor out, you hit a shallow bit and the mortor comes out again over the slabs, then there is all that messing about filling it, then going back with the pointing iron, when i was using it the girl who works for me was doing it the old way and had covered more of an area, looked cleaner and it was faster. well they keep saying they can multi task better than us

if she can point quicker by the old way she needs a pay rise,with a mastic gun type you are in complete control off the filling,but each to his or her ownim shure paving2go will have a comment to............... :p
