You know the broken wacker we had - Gav told me no way it can be fixed - definitely a piston.

What a numpty - one of the lads put too much oil in it and that was the reason for the failure to start! Is Gav the only landscaper who doesn't know his way round his machinery to fix them! I think there should be a course on that - first booking for Mr G Warner please..... rofl

So now we have an extra wacker and I have good karma for the next time I mess a quote up while feeding the baby! Worst I ever did was order 2 tonnes of sand too little though... didn't cost the same as a new wacker tho.

I feel a bunch of flowers coming this way as the wacker money came straight out the honeymoon budget.

ROFL

Always handy to have 2 plates but the old one is still worth a few quid. Clean it up lick of paint and you'd be surprised what people will pay for it. Nows the time to sell things like that. Don't beat yourself up about 2 ton of sand I'd make your nose bleed with some of the cockups I've made recently. Hubby owes you more than flowers I reckon.

I've just bought a Wacker on ebay so I've been watching prices.
Wackers fetch very good prices on ebay and as Pablo says especially this time of year.
Depends on where you live as well, if you live within the M25 people will pay silly money for them whatever the condition.

The last time I sold anything on ebay the git charged back on his credit card 2.5 months after and I ended up owing paypal £500! I've decided I'm not selling anything any more. I think I will get the kids trained up on the spare kit during this half term - at least it keeps them out of the office when I'm trying to quote (only 6 left to do before bed!)

Am I the only poor put upon wife on here? lol

Any news on a HLTG course for nippers - they might have sorted it out by the time our Lily turns 14 in 2020 lmao ;)

Sorry to hear that.
I don't want to digress too much from the thread but if I was selling a Wacker plate on ebay I would insist on cash on collection only.

Yep, PayPal do chargebacks - the seller has few, if any rights.
