To get back to the diesel problem, as this is white diesel, it will evaporate v---e---r---y s---l---o---w---l---y over the next few weeks and probably be completely unnoticeable by the end of spring.
I had a leak on the diesel tank of my motor which I only became aware of due to the permanent and growing damp patch that appeared on my block paved driveway from last summer onwards. I had the leak fixed at the back end of November and now the damp patch is barely noticeable.
I could make it vanish altogether by using an oil digester, such as OT8, but I'm in no rush and, as the patch is disappearing of its own accord, I'll leave it to Mother Nature.
