Out of interest, Bill, how much does the polymeric sand cost you? I know some US/Canadian contractors get it at a reasonable price by buying in bulk, but how much does it cost a member of the public and is it available at places like Lowe's and Home Depot (US versions of B&Q and Homebase for those not familiar with big shops in America)?

I have tried the Techniseal poly-sand and have to admit wasn't that impressed with it. They sent over a bag for me to try, I think they have an out-let in either Belgium or Holland from memory.

Home Depot and Lowe's don't carry any polymeric sand that I could find. I can order a 50lb. bag of Quikrete Polymeric sand online from the ACE Hardware chain and have it delivered to any store for $19.49 USD shipped.

Other than that, I found no place else for the general public to purchase the product. I would have thought the Lowe's or Home Depot would have it for online "only" odering but didn't!

It just didn't work that well.
We used it as trial on a bricked circle (not BP they look more like house bricks) in the midlle of Indian Sandstone, it had been KDS filled before I think. The test was with Techniseal and M-Joint.
Followed instuctions etc they even sent over 4 folders of info for all their products but the M-Joint has out lasted the Techniseal most of the Techniseal had broken up after a year.
The other thing I found with Techniseal poly-sand was it was a pain to brush it in the fact that it's not clean to work with, too much dust left of the surface, and yes I do know how to re-sand BP properly and use M-Joint properly and no I don't use poly-sand on BP drives etc, this was just a test we did for a client who's paving we clean year on year so no charge etc. They liked it I didn't. I'll try to find photo's of the job and post on here.
