no they sell it as recycled mot 1, the guy i ordered it with told me it was certified and even offered a copy of the certificate, when i complained about it having soil in he said this is normal for mot 1 its used to bind the rest of the contents together! haha i feel a lot better with myself having got rid off it! put all the true mot 1 in today, a long and painful process, i honestly dont know how you guys do it day in day out im aching everywhere! its all whacked down and looking good! ive got the blocks coming tommorrow so im going to get the kerbs and edge restraints in and then lay the blocks over the weekend!Big Phil wrote:probably your supplier is taking advantage of the term 'subbase', as many customers will believe it complies to MOT Type 1 Subbase, but as long as a supplier leaves the spec details off he can sell what he likes.
as well as the SHW 800 compliance, you can always ask for documentation to prove they comply with the WRAP Quality Protocol.
