supposed to be a 8meg connection with BT.

I might have gone for the bt 25meg connection but what is the point when they are talking about removing you connection if you file share, this is the only time I really need the speed.

with a second baby due any minute, the chances of me getting on the xbox is about as remote as england winning the world cup this year.

It's worse than awful - you have to allow for the fact that the son and heir is taking up at least 0.5Mb/s of that for his essential porn downloading! :(

I know they are taking your money but it might be worth asking Sky to see if they've actually turned the 20mb service on.

Waited in all morning for talk talk to turn up, no show. So still no internet rang up and played hell. Now saying friday another day off work! 8 till 1pm is the time slot they give. They said they'll give me a gift to make up for the wasted day. Signed up for the 24 mb service but depends on distance to exchange etc, mum and dad out in high peak get 512 kb/s they're over 9 miles from the exchange on crap over head wires. My old virgin hit 44 mb one night at about 4am ran a script to test it doing a test every half hour. Bloody annoying not having internet though.

The expensive BT ads make me larf - the curvy black router (v2) they push on tv, is rubbish at wireless distance, compared to the old v1 (the white one)
