I did think we operated a system of innocent until proven, and part of that should be some form of anymosity, unless in the public interest, which I doubt this is. I know that revealing names can bring victims forward, but if the alleged is later proven innocent, their reputation is still stained for life. It is a real difficult call I suppose, on one hand the accused has rights, but the law needs to maintain their investigation.
Feel for Liza Tarbuck though, I liked her Radio show, don't suppose she'll be carying on with that.

It is getting a bit silly now. Who's next Terry Wogan, Bruce Forsyth and Hugh Heffner.

IF their name is released and they are guilty - it is going to get released anyway, after they have been proven guilty.

If their name is released and they are innocent - their reputation is forever ruined, their career is in tatters.

If their name isn't released and they're guilty then the police should be able to gather enough evidence without releasing their names to the papers.

Nothing good can come of releasing their name before they are proven guilty in court.

Well it depends if they are guilty innocent. The fact that Stuart hall was named meant that lots of victims came forward who were all able to provide evidence that demonstrated a consistent pattern of behaviour. Where as if they had not made his name public he may have got off with it because it could have been his word against his victims word. Its a tough call, but I get the feeling that there will be lots more names emerging in the coming weeks, a few of who will unfortunately be innocent.

I would be interested to hear what UTD Fans think of the likely news that Moyes will be taking over. I get sick of seeing the big premier leauge jobs going to foreign managers, so I think if Moyes does get the job it will be a massive shot in the arm for British managers.
