I did take Trama dol at some point and was asleep for 24 hrs! I was off my face!

If you have a lot of back pain you need to see a specialist and have an MRI.
Got trama dol last time I did my back in. 1 tablet and I was away with the fairies for a bit shortly before being KOd. Had solpa dol for it too, didn't hit me nearly as hard as the trama dol though.

I was on peardrops and Kapake when I had op on me neck 8 of each a day cant really remember much of that week and as soon as I was home stopped taking them when my back hurts these days the best thing I do is go on wii fit and do the yoga stretch's for it and it soon sorts it out.

Think it has a lot to do with age. By that i mean the ability to stand pain, i'm guessing you are probably 40ish? It seems us older guys just seem to get on with it and don't let the pain get to us. Had a bad back, knees, arfur itus in the hands, you name it but as like the 'older lot i just get on with it, as Steve says; just work it off. No gain without the pain :;): :)

What a load of sh1t about work through it! Great advice!

If You carry on and don't seek help you could end up not being able to do the job you love! Yes, some people get away with it, but will you?

Spend £3-400 and get private consultation and mri.

I've never met a retired Landscaper!

chillax bo and scraper, stressing over a post will make you tense and prone to .....backache. Lpad took it on the chin, must of seen the winky smiley :;): seen too many young lads collymodeled by their mammies these days. Some people have kids, g'kids wifes, mortgages and handbags to work for, so pain is par to the course. Of course if you can afford £400 squids then go ahead and pay it but you'll still have the pain

He is sort of right though. The old line of thinking was sit on your a*se and do bugger all but they found out that that just made you seize up and made things worse.
Need to strike a balance, keep on moving but not so much that you do more damage.

A lot of simple things can help, correct lifting bending from the knees not the back, wearing knee pads and kneeling rather than bending, not picking up large weights on your own, adjusting your seat probably and posture.

If you spend a lot of time driving or in machine make sure you've got a good seat and it's adjusted accordingly

When I've had a bad back it's always worse in the morning after a bit of moving around it eases up and the days ok it's just that first thing when you've been asleep

My mate had a problem with his back and was told by the specialist it was to do with his wallet in back pocket miss aligning him as he sat (lots of hours driving vans)

mmm peardrops (<<<haha).....yummy!

I have a bulging disc in my lower back, dihydracodeine in small doses sorts me out.

Good point Giles about the wallet, me and my old man both swear it is that, that has caused or contributed to our lower back pain, i have my wallet in my front pocket now and the pain has all but dissapeared, apart from every now and then it goes twanggggg....and that my back, my left arse cheek, thigh and down the front of my shin in agony.

i'd imagine sitting on giles wallet would give you arse ache, bet it's 50 ml thick with £50s. You would'nt notice if you sat on mine, i can only afford loose change in my front pocket :;): :)

I wouldn't touch them DN, I've got a bag of plums hanging out of my ass, and i blame that stuff. Good thing is though when I'm in so much pain with my ass I forget about my back!

You should be even more careful, if you already have a problem disc! Might go pop like mine.
