well my sis in law and 10 others got ticketed that night
the other 10 paid as there was a discount for speedy payment
she has had threatening letters, cajoling letters, begging letters,it has gone from 80= 120=250=back to 80 = down to 40 talk of legal action blah blah blah
but the bottom line is that nothing has happened
the big issue for me here is that these firms can buy access to people's registered address from DVLA
what is that all about?

Yer as they are a parking enforcement firm or have or act with the landowners permission they can get it, not sure if they have to pay a small fee or not.
Even on the motorway services now if you are there over a certain time they try and fine you,
But the best place for it has got to be macdonalds at gatwick airport. They want your business, but they don't want you to stop

We have a 3rd party parking enforcement at work. £3 a day to park for students. Staff pass is 56p a week...
Always sending letters and ticketing, but never take any further action after non payments. Not worth the hassle of claiming it through the courts and such for £60

"Tiredness kills - take a break" - these ANPR scameras at services are an utter rip off and a total contradiction to highway safety.
There are, however, ways of getting around these cameras....wink wink

By not going to the services, and pulling into a local town?
Or piggybacking behind the car in front so the cameras cant see the reg plate?
